The Story behind the success.
Eve Taylor (London) Ltd was originally founded in London in 1963, but now has its entire UK and International Headquarters (HQ) operations located within a single purpose built site in Cambridgeshire, England; the company currently exports over 60% of its products to almost 40 countries worldwide.
At the very start of the business Eve Taylor took the decision to make a significant investment in developing all of its own in-house facilities in order to control its own professional education, manufacturing and production and also new product developments for its entire range of aromatherapy skin and body care products from a single source. This ensures that the quality needed by professionals could be maintained throughout the production process direct to the customer. Particularly as many of the manufacturing process’s today such as creating our world famous master essential oil concentrates, is still done by hand by expert professionals, its vital to our quality control that our master blenders have the ability to ensure that we have the worlds best ingredients needed before our final blends are created.
The Eve Taylor product range was initially established as a professional use only product line and sold exclusively to the qualified beauty therapist who used professional products during treatments. However it soon became clear that clients want Eve Taylor to also create a wide range of homecare supporting products for use between salon treatments.
Eve Taylor OBE started her career in the beauty industry as a beauty therapist and quickly became fascinated by a treatment that was originally created thousands of years ago by ancient therapists in both China & Egypt called Aromatherapy.
The use of pure essential oils fascinated Eve Taylor. So after years of study, practice and experience she decided to develop her own range of pre-blended aromatherapy oils along with specific treatment methods and techniques. Eve’s aromatherapy techniques (Clinical Aromatherapy) have been adopted by many as the original industry standard for professional aromatherapy and are currently taught extensively throughout the world.
Her original aromatherapy blends still provide both professional therapists and their clients’ with outstanding results keeping demand high around the globe.
In 2005 the company decided to develop its own range of professional and retail skin and body care to further support the needs of the professional therapist across the world to compliment its established range of world class pre-blended aromatherapy oils. In 2008 Eve Taylor was awarded an O.B.E (Officer of the British Empire) by Her Majesty the Queen of England for her contribution to the profession and industry.
